The First Grade Student of the Week is Emily Morriston!  Congratulations to Emily!

Chapel:
Important!  Chapel for elementary students will now be in the new gym on Wednesdays at 1:45 p.m.  All are welcome to attend!  The last Wednesday of each month, we will all be back in the new gym at 8:00 a.m. as usual.

Test Schedule:
Wednesday -- Phonics/Language (no studying)
Thursday -- Math (no studying)
Friday -- Bible (memorize bible verse)

8/27 - 8/31

Welcome back first graders!  We have started off with our feet running this year!  We have been reviewing vowels and short vowel sounds, blends, consonant sounds, counting, writing numbers and letters, reading and understanding poetry terms.

Student of the Week:
The first grade student of the week is Laura Gibson!  Congratulations, Laura!

Physical Education:
During this school term, we will have gym every day.  As a reminder, your child will need to bring tennis shoes for gym each day.
